Where will my hybrid be picked up?
Most hybrid ship companies offer door-to-door service, which means they will come to your house and put the hybrid on the truck in front of you. However, with major cities comes tiny roads, and trucks can’t drive on those small roads. The hybrid ship trucks can be as long as 75 ft long, which makes it virtually impossible to squeeze on a small, two-lane road. If the truck can’t get to your house, generally they will contact you and let you know that you need to meet them in a parking lot or some other place that the truck can fit in. Also, because of the nature of the United States, many cities prohibit giant trucks from going down minor roads. This is why you never see large 18-wheelers driving past your house. This is generally why you may need to meet the truck in a parking lot or someplace else that the truck can fit in. If they come to your house and there are laws preventing him from doing so, he could get a major fine--then your hybrid will never move! So let the company that you ship your hybrid with if your streets are narrow and the truck can’t get in...they’ll appreciate that.

Hybrid Ship Broker CompanyAn hybrid ship broker company is a company that specializes in hybrid ship; specifically, setting up ship for customers who want to ship their hybrids. Hybrid ship broker companies deal with the hybrid carriers so customers don’t have to; they facilitate the shipping process by providing all the shipping information to the carriers and organizing the ship. Hybrid ship broker companies dispatch the hybrids to carriers in the vehicles’ area and make sure that the carrier actually delivers the hybrid. An hybrid ship broker company usually charges a percentage of the total ship price as their commission – they need to make money too! However, they also make sure that the carrier gets paid if the customer pre-paid for their shipment; otherwise, most shipments that hybrid ship broker companies oversee are paid via cash on delivery.
Stimulus Package Passes
alright, so the stimulus package, straight outta obama’s new-deal-esque plans for reforming the united states, has just passed the house. in case you aren’t familiar with the american legislative process, the bill now is up in the senate, where they will deliberate a bit and vote to pass it or not. if it passes the senate, it goes to president obama, and he’ll either sign it into law or he’ll veto it, but at this juncture he’ll be doing the former as opposed to the latter. read article...
Good news for the Auto SHIPPING industry.. FINALLY
ok, so i promised i wouldn’t continue to write about the cash for guzzlers plan… (sigh) so i’ll sum up new developments quickly: the program is having all kinds of trouble because it’s not equipped to handle such a large market. basically the website and the help hotline have been jammed with traffic (no pun intended) and have not been helping dealers wanting to register for the program. as with anything, opinions on whether or not this program is working are varying. read article...
Auto Shipper
an auto shipper is a person or company that ships vehicles. this can be either a broker or a carrier, depending on the company, and each has their own way of operating. a broker is an auto shipper that arranges transport – from start to finish, they will find a carrier, handle all the paperwork, and take their own broker fee, but they also keep the costs low because they look for carriers instead of shipping it themselves, so the incentive to raise your price is not there. read article...
